Responsibilities:

  • Collating the spatial and non-spatial data for decision making.
  • Involved in Image interpretation, Digitization and performing analytics on UAV data.
  • Will be doing R & D in UAV data analytics and decipher methodologies.
  • Write scripts/ codes in various software environments (Global Mapper, Arc Gis) to reduce the manual interventions.
  • Building tools in Arc GIS.
  • Performing Quality Assessment in Data Delivery.
  • Producing 2D and 3D maps and visualizations to support decision making.

Skills:

  • Experience in GIS and Remote Sensing field.
  • Sound knowledge of spatial data analytics.
  • Knowledge and experience in UAV Image Processing, Interpretation and Analytics.
  • Hands on experience in Arcgis, Qgis, Microstation and Pix 4D softwares.
  • Knowledge in DGPS, Total Station and other surveying concepts.
  • Programming knowledge and experience in python, Arcpy will be an added advantage.
Qualification : B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geography/ Geo Science or relevant degree

Job Description:

We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual, with a strong desire to learn and the ability to take care of drone electronics and data acquisitions. This position is for a Junior Electronics Engineer and UAV Pilot, with exposure to building and flying sUAS (RC Multirotors) (Fixed wings - Added Advantage).

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and execute flights for aerial data acquisition from customer fields using state-of-art Industrial UAVs.
  • Coordinate with the Development team in making all flights compliant with DGCA Guidelines.
  • Plan and execute flight test plans for new software features, electronics, sensors, and payloads.
  • Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical integration of new hardware components on the internal fleet of test vehicles for R&D and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and debug any components of a drone in the office or in the field. Maintenance of vehicles – keep the fleet ready for flights.
  • Coordinate cross-team efforts among Software Engineers and Design Engineers to resolve issues identified during flight tests.
  • Learn about the domain and competitors to propose new drone applications, as well as, improvements in existing applications.

Skills:

  • Knowledge in-flight testing and operating/piloting small UAS and/or RC aircraft (multirotor systems) (Added Advantage - fixed-wing).
  • Knowledge in flying UAVs with Pixhawk and DJI controllers are highly preferred. (Mandatory)
